HOW DOES IT WORK?
Although each project and client is different, the general design process at LS Interiors is as follows:
3. DESIGN PHASE
It always starts here. If you are a local client, we will meet with you in your home (up to 2 hours), get to know one another and discuss your general design needs. During this time, we will answer questions to your design dilemmas, offer candid suggestions on how to improve your space as well as take notes, measurements and photos for future reference. For E-Design clients, the consultation takes place in the form of an online survey that is emailed upon purchase of the package.
After the consult, we will provide you with a recap of the ideas discussed during the consultation. It will also contain an estimate for the space along with a suggested design package for moving forward. Once the package has been purchased and the Letter of Agreement signed, the Design Phase begins.
3. DESIGN PHASE
With the purchased design package, LS Interiors will put together a comprehensive design & decorating plan. Whether it is sourcing from retail websites, or meeting with and obtaining quotes from trade-only vendors and contractors, we design a vision for your dream space. We will present you with an initial design concept, which usually begins in the form of a digital design board, a floor plan to scale, and a budget spreadsheet.
Once the design is approved, we will present you with a detailed proposal for the items to be purchased through LS Interiors. (E-Design clients receive a detailed shopping list with links to purchase each item. More info here.) Once signed and paid for, we take over project management, from placing orders, to scheduling deliveries, to styling that last accessory on your coffee table. You get to kick back and play in your newly designed space!
